Tutoring after 6 pm

What We Do

Tutoring After 6 PM started as a side project with the hopes of helping a few children receive tutoring. During the first month of the program, Tutoring After 6 PM took off and grew into something much larger than anyone had imagined! Currently, we work with about 80 students and about 40 tutors.

We currently work with college students from UNC Greensboro, UNC Chapel Hill, Davidson College, Duke University, Elon and more.

We offer tutoring throughout the school year to 4-12th grade youth. Currently youth throughout Durham, Orange, Alamance and Wake Counties have signed up to receive services. Our program is virtual, so we can reach students anywhere!

We currently partner with Alamance-Burlington School System and Durham Children's Initiative to provide tutoring to their students. Interested in partnering with us to provide mentor-tutoring to your students? Email Sophie Suberman, one of Grow Your World's co-executive directors, at sophie@growyourworld.org.
